Okay, thought I would chime in with some of the things I'm working on because I'm bored at work and have nothing better to do.
1.) I've started reskinning the site, and I have a somewhat functioning mockup at http://wow.subtlebliss.com/elites If you have a chance, check it out and tell me what you think. I've also started skinning phpBB, and if you click "Forums" on the menu you can see where I'm getting with that. It's under development, not live, so at times it may not work correctly or be down altogether.
2.) I've started work on a webapp I'm calling Raid Organizer. It's located at http://wow.subtlebliss.com right now, but I haven't finished the registration section so you can't really see any of it yet. The idea is that you can create a profile with the times that you're available to play and enter information about your characters that are tied to your profile and your guild(s). After that's set up, there's a wizard that will walk you through creating events, how many people you want to come along, how many of certain classes are required, assigning alternates if someone doesn't show up, etc. Then when you're ready you can send out invitations which e-mails the people asking that they log in and either accept or deny the request. The system keeps track of your schedule and you can check it to see what you've agreed to do and when other people create events they can see when you're unavailable due to another event. There's still quite a bit of work to do on it, but it's coming along nicely. I expect to have something to start testing with in the next month.
