Not quite because this quest line requires you to kill 2 25 man bosses, my guess is more along the lines of the AQ scepter chain.

Exactly. In the #3 and #4 big raids of the entire expansion. The raid section of Coilfang and Tempest are only outdone by Hyjal itself and the Black Citadel.

This is another AQ scepter chain, only much worse, because anyone who wants to go to Hyjal will have to complete it!

And what I mean by being inaccessible is that there's no way a person can do this quest chain an hour or two at a time. It's not possible. Not only will it require learning and clearing two of the large-scale raid dungeons in TBC, but it has a lot of other legwork similar to the AQ quest chain. No, this is going to be one for the hardcore guilds only.

Intricate, involved questlines are good, I agree. But making them require 24 other people is no kinder to the people who play WoW two or three hours a day, maybe not even every day, than dungeons that require 39 other people.

Is it really too much to ask, Blizzard, to just have you create new five-mans every few weeks?

The biggest mistake Blizzard ever made was allowing groups larger than five.

Don't say that. Most of us would not have met. Many would have quit playing long ago, myself included. We certainly wouldn't have Little Urban Elites.

The fact that there are still things to accomplish, challenging things that can't be done overnight, is what keeps a lot of players into this game.

If there were nothing but 5-mans, I would have quit ages ago. It's far too boring to clear casual content endlessly. If I'm going to play this game for 6 months anyway, I would rather there be something to work on every day instead of standing around in Ironforge showing off my gear because I've already done it all.

Go Forth Mighty Casuals.

For they will be bitching 2 weeks into TBC saying "theres nothing to do, ive run all the instances QQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQ"

happened with retail. itll happen with tbc.

if people dont want to invest a great deal of time, theyll get a very small reward. Its quite an easy thing to understand.

Time Put In = Reward.

Its not like its astrophysics.

I'm fine with hardcore content I'll never see. If it was all easy to get to and finish there would be nothing left for players who have little life outside WOW inside of a month after BC releases. All i ask in exchange is a few 5/10 man instances that are interesting and tax the teamwork/skills of a good group so they don't get boring after 4 or 5 runs. Oh, and half ways decent gear from those instances would be nice as well ;) Beaststalker set for hunters sucked. I never bothered getting more than 2 pieces and I will be a bit pissed if Blizz has equivelant gear for BC 5 mans.

Beaststalker was great :). Then diremaul came out :P (Assuming you came and played after DM ^).

But yeah, DM changed what defined good gear, and pretty much became a hunters paradise

If you want five man content in BC, the existence of a hardcore 25-man dungeon isn't going to stop you from enjoying the overwhelming amount of 5-man stuff that's in there now. Plus, this just sounds like a more involved and fun Onyxia quest line, except that it involves some faction grinding (faction points are easier to get in BC than in WoW), a few 25-man runs (which are said to be on the order of Onyxia raids in terms of length), and more exciting 5-man instances than just a boring BRD escort quest.
