If you use McAfee and WindowsXP, don't update to the newest virus definition file today. If you have auto-update it's probably too late. McAfee released a broken virus definition that has disabled thousands of WindowsXP machines.

McAfee and Norton can bite my ass. They are both pieces of shit hogs and their billing tactics are very shady. I see it weekly at my job people getting billed for their annual fees.

AVG, Avast or most the free scanners are more than good enough to take care of peoples virus issues if they would just be smart about their browsing and email.

And I'm trolling... :)

I personally use Avast! and I highly recommend it.

Although it can get annoying at times: 3am, "VIRUS DATABASE HAS BEEN UPDATED!"

There is no good, and there is no evil. There is only power, and individuals too weak to seek it out. Without darkness there can be no light.

Just turn on Game Mode and you'll never see or hear those kind of updates ever again.
